Demo Privacy Notice
What This Notice Covers
This Demo Privacy Notice describes how Aubern LLC, a Florida limited liability company ("Aubern", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, stores, and shares information specifically in connection with the Aubern Magician demonstration experience ("Demo") at aubernllc.com/demo/magician.
This Demo Privacy Notice applies only to the Demo. It is separate from, and does not replace, Aubern's main Privacy Policy. The Demo does not create an account and does not merge with Aubern's production account systems. Data collected during the Demo is maintained in a segmented internal system.
BY CHECKING THE CONSENT BOXES ON THE DEMO LANDING PAGE AND USING THE DEMO, YOU CONSENT TO THE COLLECTION, USE, STORAGE, AND PROCESSING OF INFORMATION AS DESCRIBED IN THIS NOTICE.
Information Collected During the Demo
We collect the following categories of information in connection with the Demo:
- Phone number — the number you enter on the Demo landing page
- Consent records — which checkboxes you checked, the text of the consent language you agreed to, the version of these documents in effect at the time, and the timestamp of your consent
- Device and connection data — IP address, browser type, user agent string, approximate network-derived location, operating system, device identifiers, and referring URL
- Session activity — pages visited, buttons clicked, time spent, fields edited, edits made to Demo-generated dummy data, any session codes generated and exchanged
- SMS and call metadata — verification code issuance and confirmation, call initiation, call duration, call outcome, telephony provider identifiers
- Voice and speech content — audio of the demonstration call, automated speech-to-text transcription of what you said, automated text-to-speech output generated by Aubern's AI
- AI-generated content — prompts sent to large language models, model responses, model-invoked tool calls, and any appointment or record created by the AI during the Demo
- Demo dummy data — any values you edit in the Demo's fabricated business record, including business name, service category, address, or hours
- Technical logs — error events, timing data, debug information, and any logs generated by Aubern's systems in the course of operating the Demo
We do not collect payment information, government identifiers, or account credentials through the Demo.
How We Use Collected Information
We use the information collected during the Demo for the following purposes:
- Operating the Demo, including verifying your phone number, placing the demonstration call, generating and displaying simulated appointment data, and rendering the Demo interface
- Preventing abuse, fraud, and misuse of the Demo
- Enforcing the Demo Terms of Service
- Reviewing, analyzing, and improving the Demo, Aubern's AI systems, Aubern's voice technology, and Aubern's products and services generally
- Internal research, product development, model evaluation, quality assurance, and training of Aubern's systems
- Generating internal business records, audit trails, and legal compliance records
- Responding to legal process, defending legal claims, and cooperating with law enforcement as required
- Any additional purpose disclosed to you at the time of collection or otherwise permitted by applicable law
WE DO NOT SELL YOUR INFORMATION. WE DO NOT USE YOUR DEMO INFORMATION FOR THIRD-PARTY MARKETING. WE DO NOT PLACE TELEPHONE SOLICITATION CALLS TO YOU BASED ON YOUR DEMO PARTICIPATION.
Third Parties That Process Demo Data on Our Behalf
We use trusted service providers to operate the Demo. These providers process Demo data under contract and are authorized to use it only for the purposes of providing services to Aubern. Current providers include:
- Vonage — SMS verification code delivery and phone number verification services
- Twilio — voice telephony services for the demonstration call
- OpenAI — large language model processing for Demo AI interactions
- Hosting and infrastructure providers — server hosting, database hosting, content delivery, and related infrastructure for the Demo
We may change service providers at any time without notice. By using the Demo, you consent to the processing of Demo data by any service provider reasonably selected by Aubern for the purposes of operating the Demo.
When We Disclose Information
We may disclose Demo information in the following circumstances:
- Service providers. As described above, to operate the Demo
- Legal compliance. To comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, subpoena, court order, or government request
- Protection of rights. To protect the rights, property, safety, or interests of Aubern, our users, or others, including investigating fraud, abuse, or violations of our terms
- Corporate transactions. In connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, financing, sale of assets, bankruptcy, or similar transaction, Demo data may be transferred to a successor entity
- With your direction. At your explicit request or with your separate consent
Data Retention
Aubern retains Demo information, including session data, consent records, call transcripts, voice recordings, edited dummy data, AI-generated content, and internal logs, for such period as Aubern in its sole discretion determines appropriate for business, product development, analytical, legal, compliance, and recordkeeping purposes.
You acknowledge and agree that Aubern makes no representation as to any specific retention period and that Demo information may be retained indefinitely unless Aubern elects to delete it or unless applicable law requires earlier deletion.
Where required by applicable law, Aubern will honor valid requests for deletion as described below.
How We Protect Demo Data
Aubern implements industry-standard safeguards for Demo data, including transport-layer encryption, access controls, audit logging, and segregation of Demo data from Aubern's production account systems.
No system is perfectly secure. Aubern does not warrant that Demo data will never be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed by unauthorized means, and expressly disclaims any such warranty. You assume the risk of transmitting information through the Demo.
Rights You May Have
Depending on your state of residence, you may have rights under state privacy law regarding personal information Aubern processes about you, which may include the right to request access, correction, or deletion of your information, and the right to object to certain processing.
To exercise any such right, send a written request to privacy@aubernllc.com with the subject line "Demo Privacy Request" and include the phone number you submitted to the Demo so we can locate your records. We will respond within the time period required by applicable law.
We may request additional information to verify your identity before acting on a request. We may decline requests where required or permitted by law, including where the information is needed to comply with legal obligations, establish or defend legal claims, or fulfill legitimate business purposes.
Do Not Call and TCPA Matters
The Demo places one automated phone call to you only at your express written consent and your initiation, as part of a product demonstration. Aubern does not place telephone solicitation calls to Demo participants based on their Demo participation. If you wish to revoke consent for any future contact from Aubern, email privacy@aubernllc.com with the subject "Demo Opt-Out" and the phone number you submitted.
If you believe you received a call or message in error or without proper consent, contact us immediately so we can investigate.
No Use by Minors
The Demo is not directed to children under 18. Aubern does not knowingly collect information from children under 18 through the Demo. If you believe a child has submitted information to the Demo, contact us at privacy@aubernllc.com and we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
Location of Data Processing
Aubern is based in the United States. The Demo is operated from, and Demo data is processed and stored in, the United States. If you access the Demo from outside the United States, you consent to the transfer of your information to the United States and acknowledge that United States law may differ from the privacy laws of your country.
Changes to This Notice
Aubern may update this Demo Privacy Notice at any time by posting a revised version at this URL. The version number and effective date shown at the top of this page indicate the current version. Continued use of the Demo after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Notice.
